Russ Mallard 
Background

Russ has over 30 years of business experience, most of which has been at the senior management level.

Over the course of his career, he has worked in manufacturing and distribution environments across Canada. This included several different unionized and non-unionized corporate cultures in both a multinational publicly owned corporation and large privately held family owned enterprises. He founded his own food service distribution company in 2000 and sold it in 2003 to one of North American's largest food service distribution companies. Russ continued on as President and CEO until November 2006.

Russ founded ALIGN People Resources in 2007. Russ has first hand experience in the challenges faced by leaders of small to medium sized businesses that do not have the services of a full time Human Resource professional on staff.

Russ has always had a special interest in people and Human Resources and has implemented many innovative programs to enhance job satisfaction for members of his team.  

Russ is also the President of Mallard & Associates Ltd., Authorized Licensee for Sandler Training for the Province of New Brunswick. Russ was a founding member in Atlantic Canada of The Executive Committee (TEC) an international group of CEO's, a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and a Business Administration Graduate from Ryerson in Toronto.  He is also a Member of the Human Resource Association of New Brunswick, The Greater Moncton and Fredericton Chamber's of Commerce, the Saint John Board of Trade and a Rotarian.
